Are you interested in graduate education in the field of urban policy and leadership at Hunter College (CUNY) in New York City? Hunter offers the only NASPAA accredited MS degree in “Urban Policy” in the CUNY system. With a focus on the theory and practice of policy making, asset analysis, needs assessment, evaluation and leadership in the public and non-profit sector, students will cultivate the skills to be problem solvers in a variety of settings. With faculty experts in housing, education, immigration, economic development, transportation, sustainability, public health, infrastructure, cultural competency and governance – students are offered a rich selection of courses in a variety of topic areas. Housed in the Department of Urban Policy and Planning, with an ethos of collaborative learning, advocacy and social justice, Hunter offers students a truly unique and affordable graduate experience. With the city of New York as its laboratory, the program gets students out of the ivory tower and into the real world to prepare them for their future careers.
