GUPPA (Graduate Urban Policy and Planning Association) is Hunter UPP’s graduate student organization dedicated to helping students of the Urban Policy and Planning programs make the most of their academic experience. Activities include panel discussions, field trips, movie nights, conferences, happy hours, career preparation workshops, and networking with fellow graduates from Hunter UPP and similar programs in New York City, the Northeast, and across the nation. Hunter also has a new Placemakers club dedicated to enhancing the quality of public spaces at Hunter and throughout the city.
GUPPA’s Google Group is a resource for students and alumni who wish to stay informed about GUPPA events, meetings, or receive general updates. Messages posted to this group are generated by both GUPPA officers and the GUPPA user community. GUPPA’s Instagram page is another way to stay connected.
