Celebrate the beginning of the year at UPP and GUPPA’s first event of the spring semester! Hunter College Urban Policy and Planning Professor Lily Pollans will be discussing her new book, “Resisting Garbage: The Politics of Waste Management in American Cities,” on Feb. 4 at 6 pm.
Non-Hunter guests should register for the event by February 1 in order to get clearance to be on campus. Visitors will receive an email with a link to upload proof of vaccination or a valid negative PCR COVID test taken within seven days prior to the event. Once approved, visitors will receive an email or text message providing a GreenPass to enter the campus. This event will also be held virtually for those who do not feel comfortable or cannot attend in person. A link will be provided prior to the event.
The Graduate Urban Policy and Planning Association (GUPPA) and the Department of Urban Policy and Planning (UPP) at Hunter College will be jointly hosting this event.
